Vision and Mission

Born and raised in Hong Kong, and after many years working in different fields, Fong and Wilson created LifeSync Robotics to materialise their vision of a future with AI and robot assisted surgeries. With the conviction that human-machine collaboration will be the norm for all activities in the future including surgeries, and with an emphasis on safety, reliability and compliance, Fong and Wilson would like to create surgical robots that can make the world better by providing safer and more affordable medical options.

Wilson is an experienced research engineer with a strong focus on medical imaging, orthopedics, artificial intelligence, and software development. His expertise spans across AI-driven image classification, segmentation, and detection for medical applications. He has developed various applications for intra-operative surgical planning, 2D/3D image registration, and optical tracking systems.

Wilson has contributed to the development of AI models for medical imaging in CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray. His work involves machine learning, deep learning, and the integration of advanced imaging technologies into medical devices.

Wilson holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Auckland (New Zealand), where he was a recipient of the prestigious University Doctoral Scholarship.

Fong is a seasoned manager with extensive experience in strategic planning and business development. With over a decade in executive roles at multinational companies, Fong has a proven track record of successfully launching new products, expanding into new markets and achieving ambitious sales and profit targets.

Fong is experienced in establishing new business ventures in diverse locations, from market research, market entry planning, project financing, to effectively managing teams across multiple regions to execute marketing and sales.

Fong holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Hong Kong and an MBA from the Peking University HSBC Business School, equipping him with a strong foundation in both legal and business principles.
